Warning... the begininning is long and may be boring but if you want to keep reading, you have bene warned!
(Baby G at 7 weeks)
I went to lunch with my BF that day... called into work, I had woken up really sick with allergies or something (really it was a mental health day all the way along with allergies.) So I thought I would be funny and wrap up one of thos bad boys (the test) and give it as a LATE christmas gift... Caught him a bit off guard but from the moment he saw it was Positive he was so excited. So there started our Journey...the next day I went to the Dr. for my allergies and confirmed that I was pregnant... So now to tell our families...
My dad had been working out of town and was supposed to be out for a few more weeks but somehow came back that weekend, so we sat them down, talked to them and there was a lot of different emotions going on... Growing up in a very Christian home, us not being married.. not living together.. wasn't the ideal situation to our parents.. But they have responded well and I am very thankful for how helpful they have been! His parents took it the same way, again raised in a Catholic home they expect a different situation. But anywho that has gone.
About a week after we found out I had some pregnancy issues that scared us so we went in to the ER and had a sono, we didn't get any pictures and in reality there was just a sack there but everything was good.
Since I kept having these issues I had to go in and see a Dr. earlier than expected and had a sono at 7 weeks were we got to see our little baby and get a picture! We even got to see the heart fluttering on the screen... PRICELESS!!
At this point we decided to tell family and friends and made it public.
I'll have to continue in a few days- Enjoy!
Love
Momma G
