but we did cook out. I bought him a pair of pants and got him a card, he loved it. For my hunnie I wasn't sure what to do, we didn't do anything for me on Mother's day because I felt weird celebrating and my baby isn't here with us yet. So I did something creative and made him a Daddy To Be Survival kit. I used all his favorite candies/snacks and other little things I knew he would like.
So the breakdown
Snickers: to remind you its ok to laugh
Cry babies: in case one crying baby is not enough
Hot Fries: for those late night snacks (Also his favorite chips)
Hugs/Kisses: To remind you that mommy and baby girl need lots of hugs and kisses
Kit Kat: When you need a break
Mounds: For the Mounds of help you will be
Tootsie Rolls: So that you can Roll with the punches
Lifesavers: Because you are a lifesaver and without you I couldn't do this
Popcorn: For those nights when we need a movie night
Mountain Dew: For that extra boost in the morning after a long night of staying away with a newborn (He doesn't drink coffee)
Tissues: To wipe away the tears... yours, hers and mine
Eraser: To remind you that every new parent makes mistakes
Masks: In case the smell gets too bad (he's horrible with strong smells)
Wet Wipes: For those on the go messes
and a card from baby G!
He loved it all and was eager to eat all the candy! He has a sweet tooth but I'm glad he loved it.
